Opportunities in Obsolescence
On May 2024, I was fortunate enough to present the work I did for my “Opportunities of Obsolescence” exhibit at the Open Hardware Summit in Montreal, Canada.
Abstract
This work focuses on creative approaches on repurposing obsolete tech and electronic waste using open source hardware. The hypothesis behind this work is that “true” ownership comes from the modification and repair of personal tech.
